We Are Taiwan

“WE ARE TAIWAN” is an 80-minute production.  More than  a stage performance, it is a journey of encounter. We weave together dance, music, singing, theater, and traditional arts and crafts through the performance, while the dancers use their bodies as brushes to paint Taiwan‘s  cultural landscape of diverse communities. From the deep emotions  of the Minnan people, the spiritual beliefs of the indigenous peoples, and the resilience of the Hakka spirit, to the creativity and passion of a new generation of young artists, together they compose a cultural poem that bridges tradition and modernity.

Interaction lies at the heart of the performance. Through dialogue with the audience, culture becomes more than something   to be observed— it becomes a living experience to be touched, felt, and shared. When the lights rise, we hope the audience will not only see the dancers, but also, within every breath, witness Taiwan, shining brightly.
